Default Furious Prefix

Does the Furious Prefix mod work with Adrenaline gain when you take damage? Or is it just from hitting with the weapon.

See in-game it just says "Double Adrenaline Gain" Chance 10%
which is why I was curious.

I've heard that non attack skills that double adrenaline like 'To the Limit!' will be affected by a furious mod, but I've never tested it and can't be sure. Assuming thats true, then taking damage should trigger furious too (note that adr gained from getting hit is negligible, even if doubled). Other than spears, you're better off with a different mod anyway.

Marty speaks truth.

It'd be very hard to know if adrenaline was doubled from being hit anyway - you need to take damage equivalent to 25% of your max health to gain a single strike. Unless you're in HM or Frenzy/Primal you really shouldn't ever be taking that much in one shot, so you'd only be having units doubled instead of full strikes.
